Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling

The Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling is suitable for the immobilisation and support of the arm, shoulder and elbow joints. It is designed with a generously-sized envelope constructed of durable polycotton that provides the user with a comfortable custom fit while ensuring immobility.

The sling features a fully padded 2" wide foam strap with contact closure and D-Rings for easy adjustment and application. A thumb loop helps prevent the arm sling from moving, preventing pain and helping to ensure the proper position for healing. Designed for use with both the left and right arm, this versatile sling will provide peace of mind that your arm is supported during recovery.

LimbO Full Arm Plaster Cast and Dressing Protector

The Limbo Cast Protector provides the easiest way to keep your cast or dressing safe and dry in the bath or shower. Self-sealing and self-supporting, the LimbO can simply be slipped over your cast or dressing, and the self-sealing watertight rubber seal will do the rest.

Which Size of the Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling Is Right For Me?

To determine which size of sling is right for you, simply measure your arm from the tip of the elbow to the base of the little finger (where your little finger is joined to your hand). Once you have your measurement, compare it with the table below to select the appropriate size for your needs.

For example, if your measurement was 36cm, we would advise going for the medium sized sling. If your measurement is close to a size boundary between two lengths, we would advise selecting the next size up to ensure you have enough fabric to support your arm and wrist correctly.

Wearing The Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling

To apply your sling, simply follow these steps:

1. Position your elbow in the pocket of the Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling. The wrist and 3/4 of the hand should be supported within the pocket or envelope.
2. Place your thumb in the thumb loop to help maintain the position of the forearm within the Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling.
3. Place the shoulder straps over the opposite shoulder to your injured arm, then feed through the D-ring and secure the straps. Your hand should be slightly elevated above the elbow.

Cleaning Instructions for the Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling

The liner of the Procare Blue Vogue Arm Sling can be hand washed in warm water using mild soap. Rinse the material thoroughly, and air dry. If you do not rinse the material thoroughly, residual soap may cause irritation and deteriorate the material.
