Traumatic injuries to the shoulder are painful, and might even cause the joint to rotate into uncomfortable positions. The ProCare Clinical Shoulder Immobiliser Arm Sling is designed to prevent shoulder rotation, providing you with the support required to heal after an injury.

Which Size Is Right for Me?

Please refer to the chart below to see the size of the envelope (i.e. the part of the sling in which you rest your arm) for each size of sling. To find your perfect size, please measure the length of your arm from your wrist to the tip of your elbow. Once you have your measurement, add 3" (or 8cm) to your result and match this to the envelope length in the table.

Why Should You Use an Arm Sling?

Following a dislocation, overuse injury, or repetitive strain shoulder injury, it's integral that you stabilise and support the joint to prevent further damage to the area. This ProCare sling is constructed to immobilise the shoulder and arm to prevent the elbow, shoulder and arm from being damaged to ensure you can heal properly.

Ideal for Facilitating Rehabilitation

The Shoulder Immobiliser Arm Sling stabilises and supports your shoulder, allowing your body to rest and recover before you return to your normal daily routine. This support features a comfortable shoulder pad, meaning you can wear it for long periods without the material digging into your skin.

What Is Its Maximum Waist Measurement?

The maximum waist measurement (with the strap fully fastened and offering support) is 151 cm or 59.5 inches.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Excellent comfortable sling

Bought this sling support after seeing reviews. The hospital ‘industrial’ one was very supportive but was making me rather hot, This one is on the same lines, body strap for extra support. It’s nice & lightweight, but still offers excellent support without the bulk. Out of it now, but a valuable purchase.

Needed a 2nd sling to keep arm at 90degrees due to Broken collar bone. Very comfortable with soft breathable material so does not sweat. I ordered medium and there is plenty of room

Arm sling

I had a left total shoulder replacement and needed to wear a sling 24/7 for 3 weeks. The sling that the hospital had provided was looking a bit tatty after 2 weeks, so I decided to purchase a new one to keep the shoulder/arm stabilised. Unfortunately, I found the purchased sling to be uncomfortable and restrictive. It felt as if my shoulder was being pulled in the wrong direction, and sadly I couldn't wear it for longer than a few minutes. It could have been because of the waist belt, that it didn't feel right.
I wouldn't recommend the sling post shoulder replacement. It might be fine in other situations.
Delivery took about 3 days and product was well packaged. Sadly not for me.

Shoulder imobiliiser sling

I purchased the sling, not knowing if would be any use. Happily it has been a bonus for my wife as her right arm has been paralised since her anuerism. The previous sling I had was not so good with narrow velcro fastening. This sling keeps her arm in place with wide straps and the belt going around her back keeps her arm tight to her shoulder. I have no problem recommending this product and in fact I purchased two.
