Attendant-Propelled Design
The Days Standard Width Escape Lite Wheelchair features attendant-operated cable brakes for ease of use
The Days Narrow Width Escape Wheelchair is designed specifically for users who require an attendant to move around. As a result, the brakes on the wheelchair can be found on the handles of the wheelchair for easy access on behalf of the attendant. These cable brakes are extremely responsive to ensure the user remains safe at all times.
How Do I Fold Down the Wheelchair?
This wheelchair is easy to fold down for travel and requires no tools. Simply follow these steps:
- Identify the release levers at the handles, footrests and under the chair
- Release the levers at the foot rests and lift them off the chair
- Release the levers at the handles and tip them downwards
- Release the crossbars underneath the chair and push the two sides inwards

Additional Dimensions
When the backrest and arms are folded into the chair's "transportation" position as pictured above, the chair has a complete height of approximately 760mm.

Suitable for use both indoors and out, the chair is fitted with puncture-proof tyres to ensure that it is durable to stand up to all environments. Swing-away, detachable footrests make patient transfer simple, while attendant-operated brakes provide excellent levels of safety.

With a distance measuring just 62.5cm between the front and and back wheels, the Days Standard Width Escape Lite Wheelchair will easily fit inside the car boot of most cars. Perfect as a lightweight and portable stowaway style wheelchair, the Days Escape Light Chair can easily be lifted and moved in and out of your car as and when required.
How Wide is the Days Wheelchair?
The Days Escape Lite Standard Width Chair measures 46cm wide. This measurement is taken from the very edges of the chair, as seen in the image below.
How Do I Park the Wheelchair?
To park your wheelchair you can use the parking break. To apply the brake, pull the lever upwards and the ratchet mechanism will lock the brakes on. To release the brake, pull the small lever upwards, which unlocks the ratchet.
