Each of these sounds has been recorded from a genuine patient, and this particular sound card includes recordings from a range of different age groups.

What Is the Purpose of This Sound Card?

This bowel sounds sound card is compatible with the 3B Scientific Hand-Held Auscultation Device, and has been designed with 16 different bowel sounds recorded from genuine patients of a variety of ages. When plugged into the hand-held auscultation device, the sounds on this card can be identified via the stethoscope sounders (included with auscultation device purchase).

This sound card and compatible auscultation device can be used by medical students and teachers for undertaking or delivering training on recognising the various sounds you may hear when using a stethoscope to listen to the heart, lungs, and surrounding areas.
