3B Scientific Hand-Held Auscultation Simulator

Use the 3B Scientific Hand-Held Auscultation Simulator for delivering or undertaking training on what healthy and unhealthy heart and lung sounds sound like. This hand-held device can be connected to up to 15 stethoscope sounders (only two supplied), making it suitable for training with larger groups. For ease-of-control with larger groups, volume control can be found on the device, alongside illuminating LEDs which show whether it is a heart or breath sounds menu being used.

What Is the Purpose of the Auscultation Simulator?

The heart and breath sounds simulator is a hand-held device designed to be used alongside stethoscope sounders (two supplied) and and a plug-in sound device such as the 3B Scientific Breath Auscultation Sounds. This simulator is designed to allow students to study and recognise heart and lung sounds for the purpose of patient evaluation and diagnosis.

Once the sound menu has been plugged into this device, you can connect the stethoscope sounders. The sounders are designed to allow students to use their stethoscopes to listen to the sounds recorded on the sound menu.

Please Note: You must use a sound menu such as the 3B Scientific Breath Auscultation Sounds (sold separately) for this device to function. This device will NOT work without a sound menu.
