Reclining Backrest for Most Comfortable Bath Experience
The backrest of the Bellavita Bath lift reclines to a 50 degree angle so you can comfortably lie back in the bath, without having to get off the lift. When holding the DOWN button to lower the lift, simply continue pressing it to automatically recline the backrest. The button can be released when the desired angle is achieved, or it will recline all the way to 50 degrees.
Will the Bellavita Bath Lift Fit in My Bathroom?
The Bellavita Bath Lift is designed to fit into virtually any bathtub, as it doesn't require any installation. The overall width of the product is 70cm (28"), so as long as your bathtub is at least 70cm wide, you can easily place the lift inside.
How Do I Install the Bath Lift?
You can install the lift yourself by following the steps outlined in the user manual. The basic installation steps include:
- Remove the unit from the carton and check the stop lever
- Attach the backrest into the seat unit
- Charge the battery and attach the hand control
- Place the bath lift into the bathtub
- Install side flap protectors

The Bath Lift can be lowered to incredible 6cm (2.4") from the bottom of the bath, which allows improved water immersion, ideal for shallow baths. The market-leading maximum height of 48cm (18.9") enables safe, level transfers in deeper baths.
