Standard Bed Alarm Sensor Pad

The Standard Bed Alarm Sensor Pad is designed to work in conjunction with the Patient Fall Alarm Monitors for effective fall management when caring for elderly or disabled individuals. When weight is shifted off of the Bed Sensor Pad as a patient attempts to get up, it sends signals to the alarm in order to activate an alert, allowing for a carer to quickly come to the patient's aid. It is a great monitoring tool for keeping track of those who wander or are at increased risk of falling.

Importance of Bed Sensor Pads

Bed Sensor Pads are suitable to use alongside Alarm Monitors to alert carers when an individual moves or attempts to get out of bed. They are ideal to use on low activity patients, such as those recovering from injury or surgery, or elderly patients who are at an increased risk of wandering or falling.

The alarm is only triggered when a patient's body weight is fully lifted from the sensor pad; once the weight is placed back on the pad, the alarm will stop.

• 180-Day: Suitable for most rehabilitation stays because of its durability

Straightforward to Use

This durable, vinyl-covered bed pad effectively activates the alarm monitor when a patient rises or significantly shifts their weight off of the pad. The set up instructions are printed on the underside of the Sensor Pad for convenience, along with a section to record the initial date of use so that you can keep track of the pad's battery life.

Unobtrusive Bed Pad

The pad is placed on top of the bed and under the bed sheets so that patients can lie on it, and is made from a thin material so that it can be slept on comfortably. A Large version can be bought to enable a larger bed coverage, so the user’s movements can always be detected and avoid false alerts.
