What Is the Purpose of the Vision Test Chart?

The Sussex Vision Eye Test Chart has been designed for facilitating distance-vision tests. When hung on the wall, patients are stood approximately 6 metres, or twenty feet, away from the chart before being asked to identify all of the letters that they can see. The results are then used to determine your level of vision, and how much of a distance disturbs your view.
