How Can the Amplicall 140 Help?
When connected to a compatible receiver, either the Amplicall 100 or Amplicall 150, this Amplicall 140 device can be used as a sound sensor/baby monitor or as an emergency call button.
- If used as a sound sensor, it calls the receiver when a loud enough sound is made (how loud this is depends on what you have set it to)
- If used as an emergency call button, the patient simply presses the button and the receiver is called
Compatible with Amplicall 100 and Amplicall 150 Receivers
This device needs to be paired with either the Amplicall 100 or Amplicall 150 wireless receivers (seen below), neither of which are included. If paired with one of the receivers, it will also notify them when the sound sensor is tripped or when then emergency call button is pressed. The receiver will then loudly ring to alert someone.
Can a Receiver Pair with Multiple Transmitters?
The Amplicall 100 Receiver already includes one transmitter, the Amplicall 101 Doorbell/Care alarm, but it can be paired with up to six devices, while the Amplicall 150 includes no transmitters and can be paired with up to four devices. So for example if you bought the Amplicall 100 and this Amplicall 140 model, you could have a care system with two independent transmitters. To differentiate between transmitters paired to a receiver, the Amplicall 140 will have it's own icon on the receiver, so whoever is looking at it will know that it is ringing/flashing because the the sound sensor went off or somebody pressed the emergency alarm.
Choice of Three Detection Sensitivities
Depending on your individual needs, the Amplicall 140 has three different detection volumes: high (75dB), medium (84dB) and low (90dB).
