Jura Epicondylitis Clasp

The Jura Epicondylitis Clasp is suitable for medial and lateral epicondylitis, and is a professional solution to tennis or golfer's elbow. Applying compression to both the medial and lateral epicondyles, this epicondylar clasp provides relief regardless of the cause of your condition.

A lightweight support that helps to support the muscles in the forearm and reduces pressure on the tendon, this clasp is the perfect product to use alongside other tennis elbow treatment methods. This helps ensure you're able to get back to your regular routine as quickly as possible.

What Is Tennis Elbow?

Tennis or golfer's elbow is the common name for epicondylitis, a condition that occurs when the tendons on either the outside or inside of your elbow become damaged from overuse. There is no easy cure for tennis elbow and treatment options include medication or – in more severe cases – surgery. In most cases, however, there are things you can do to ensure you have the best chance of recovery, and using a good support like the Jura Tennis Elbow Clasp is one of them.

Sizing of the Epicondylitis Clasp

The Epicondylitis Clasp is available in five different sizes. Please measure the circumference of your arm at the forearm and consult the table below.

Where Do I Measure My Forearm?

We recommend measuring your forearm a few centimetres below your elbow in order to find the perfect size for your needs. Please see the image below for an indication of where to measure your arm.

Fitting Instructions for the Epicondylitis Support

Follow the instructions below to fit your Jura Epicondylitis Clasp:

  1. Open the elastic strap
  2. Apply the clasp to the forearm area, with the larger pad on the outside of the arm and the clasp contouring the back of the forearm
  3. While applying minimal force, pull the elastic strap across the arm and position the white arrow down the scale between 1 – 10 until the desired compression level is found. Ensure the hook/loop fastening is secured
  4. Make a record of the position to aid repeated accurate fitting of the brace

Please be aware that the Epicondylitis Clasp can fit either the left or the right arm. When fitted to the left arm, the logo on the clasp should appear inverted.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Not the best....

With no buckle hook to thread the strap through, this device is useless - unless you have someone nearby to tension it properly for you every time you wish to wear it.
It's pretty flimsy and provides no effective compression of your forearm. I sent it back and ordered a 'Push Med Elbow Brace Epi' from Health and Care - double the price but so much more effective.

Good if you don’t wash the pad

I must say this product is very good ! But after a week wearing it I thought it’s a good idea to give the pad a hand wash but the tin sheet of cloth from back peel off from the pad.

This clasp replaced a different model which had worn out after some considerable use. The wearer is very pleased with it and considers the cost very reasonable. She is an active person and would have preferred it in black or some other colour that did not show the dirt so much.

Wonderful support for golfers /tennis elbow

I bought this strap to replace my old one as velcro stick had worn off.. I have recently triggered an old RSI injury and this support really helps it to settle, wear it when you are doing stuff you know is going to aggravate, in my case writing or painting or weeding. Any pressure in elbow area. These clasps are invaluable. Highly recommend

I have found this elbow support very useful. Surprisingly it helps and gives support to my elbow and I can put it on when I am doing jobs which I know would aggravate the condition. Would recommend
