What Conditions is the Actimove Alufoam Aluminium Finger Splint Suitable For?

The versatile and flexible, aluminium design of these Actimove Splints make them extremely versatile and suitable for a wide variety of finger injuries. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Subungual haematoma
  • Nail bed laceration
  • Distal phalanx fracture
  • Mallet finger
  • Flexor digitorum profundus (FDP) avulsion
  • Distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint dislocations
  • A variety of other finger injuries

Stabilises the Finger Joint

The main function of a finger splint is to stabilise the joint. This immobilisation helps speed up the heeling process as it prevents your finger moving or bending in ways that could worsen your injury or cause pain.

Protective High-Density Foam Padding

The high-density foam padding on the inside of the splints cushions and protects your finger to prevent reinjury. It also springs back, so will adjust to your changing finger as swelling goes down.

Cut into the Shape You Need

Depending on your injury or the size of your injured finger, you may need a different sized splint. With the Actimove Splints that's no issue as they can be cut down to size for a customised fit.
