An oximeter measures blood-oxygen levels (or SpO2), pulse rate, and perfusion index. It measures these things without the need for needles or blood samples, offering a less invasive way for doctors to evaluate how effectively a patient's body is transporting oxygen around their bloodstream.

This oximeter model is a fingertip oximeter, meaning that it is designed to be easily clipped onto the user's finger.
