Corded Telephone
The corded telephone has an adjustable receiver volume of up to 30dB, so you won't have to worry about not being able to hear the phone ringing. It's also compatible with hearing aids, making it ideal for providing different users with a more pleasant and reliable telephone experience.
The inclusion of three large photo buttons enables different numbers to be programmed into the phone's memory. This means that both emergency numbers and those of family and friends can be dialled at the touch of a button, which is particularly important for anybody with memory issues who would benefit from relying on visual representations.
How Do the Photo Buttons Work?
AmpliDECT 295 Amplified Desktop Phone is equipped with photo speed dial buttons that allow you to contact your loved ones at the touch of a button. You can use this easy-to-use template to upload your own pictures, and then print them out in the right size to be placed inside the photo phone buttons.
Please note that if you add additional Geemarc 295 Photo Handsets to this set, the memory buttons on the photo handsets will retrieve the same set of direct memory speed dial entries stored in the base.
How Do I Apply the Photos?
The lid of each of the photo buttons can be flipped up, at which point you can easily insert the photos that you have cut to size. The diagram below shows the process of placing your photos into the photo buttons.
Can I Set A Distinct Ring for Each Caller?
Yes, you can set a different ring for each caller in your phonebook, allowing the user to easily identify the caller from the ring alone. Each AmpliDECT 295 handset features five standard rings and five polyphonic rings, while the base itself features five standard rings. This provides plenty of room for customisation to ensure important numbers can have a distinct ring.

The corded base unit of this phone features the following dimensions:

Is This Amplified Telephone Wall-Mountable?

Can I Connect This Phone to My Internet Modem?
Yes, if you subscribe to a digital phone line from your landline provider, this phone can be connected by plugging the telephone cord directly into your internet modem.
How Can the AmpliDECT Combi Base Be Mounted?
This phone includes a clever mounting bracket that can be swivelled between wall and table mounting positions. See the images below for a quick demonstration of the mounting procedure (also covered in pages 5 and 6 of the user manual):
Table Mounting Position
Once you've attached the mounting bracket to the central hinge, clip it into place with the white rubber feet facing downwards to achieve the table mount position.
Central Hinge
To switch positions, simply unclip the mounting bracket and swivel on the central hinge as show below.
Wall Mount Position
Clip the mounting bracket to the bottom of the back of the phone to achieve the wall mounting position, as shown below.
Does the Phone Light Up When Receiving a Call?
When an incoming call is detected, the red LED light at the top of each handset will illuminate. This light brightly and steadily flashes, clearly signifying that a call is on the line.
Cordless Telephone
The cordless telephone can be kept in its cradle when not in use to help ensure that it is not misplaced. This will be useful if you suffer from memory difficulties or would struggle to quickly locate the phone when it rings. Due to the cordless nature of the phone, you will also have the option to carry it with you around your home, receiving up to eight hours of continuous talk time.
The ability to move the handset between rooms will be ideal for when you are waiting for a phone call, but don't want to remain seated by the cradle. It also allows you to walk about while taking calls. You can even take the phone into your bedroom at night for peace of mind that it will be within easy reach should you need to make or receive any urgent calls.
Does This Phone Feature Caller ID?
Yes, this phone can display Caller ID, providing it is supplied in your current package by your service provider. It will store the last 50 numbers, allowing you to scroll back through your last calls for reference.
Will the Corded Phone Work in a Power Outage?
Yes, the corded desk phone will work in the event of a power failure, but the call amplification, ringer amplification and phonebook features will be disabled, as these functions are powered by the mains power adaptor. Outgoing and receiving calls will work, but with a standard receiver volume (roughly 8dB).

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.
