What Support Does the Cervical Neck Roll Offer?

The Original McKenzie Cervical Neck Roll offers support for those who suffer neck pain when lying down, or upon waking up. The roll offers essential medium to firm support for your neck to help keep it in alignment while lying in bed, preventing pain and strain.

What Causes Neck Pain?

Sleeping without proper support is one cause of neck pain, due to the extra stress on your cervical spine's joints, discs and soft tissues. With the Original McKenzie Cervical Roll your neck is better supported and aligned with the rest of your spine, and as a result, you're able to rest and sleep without discomfort.

How Do I Use the McKenzie Cervical Roll?

The McKenzie Cervical Roll should ideally be used with a very soft pillow (e.g. feathers), moulded rubber or foam pillows should never be used if you have neck problems. Simply place the roll between your pillow and pillowcase so that it is in a position to give added support to your neck. This position is usually found where the edge of the pillow touches your shoulder.

Remove cover before cleaning
Hand wash with a mild detergent
Air dry completely

I have inserted the Neck Roll in with my feather pillow, which seems to work well, although the diameter of the roll could be a couple of centimetres bigger and 10cm longer. I think it is a little bit overpriced.

I bought the Neck Roll about a week ago and I can honestly say it was well worth it. I have suffered from neck, shoulder and back pain in my bed for a very long time. I’ve had no recurrence of pain since I first used it. It works best if it is inserted into your pillow. I am delighted as it is small and light and can easily fit into my case when travelling. Wish I’d bought one years ago.
