BariVest Bariatric Patient Vest

The BariVest Bariatric Patient Vest is a training aid that safely enables the comfortable rising, standing training and gait training for users weighing over 180kg. The vest is extremely simple for caregivers to apply and remove, and it can be used in combination with both mobile and stationary lifts with a four-point sling bar.

Standing Training for Heavier Users

The BariVest is a functional patient rehabilitation aid that has been created to facilitate standing training for users weighing over 180kg. It can be used in conjunction with either mobile or stationary (overhead) lifts with a four-pint sling bar, and combined with other lifting accessories from the SystemRoMedic range for individual adaptation.

Full Support

The BariVest features a back section, a front section and a narrower section in the middle to enable a comfortable fit in the crotch area. It has two sling bar loops, both front and back, as well as belts at three levels to ensure that the patient is fully supported.

Recommended User Weight

Different products on the same lift system (lift unit, sling bar, scales and other lifting accessories) may have different allowable safe working loads. The lowest allowable safe working load always determines the safe working load of an assembled system.

The BariSling is available to purchase in two different sizes depending on the user's weight:

Which Hoists Can I Use the Sling With?

This sling is designed with loop fixings. It is designed for easy and secure attachment to all hoists with loop fixing compatibility.

Please note that though the sling can handle loads of up to 570kg, the recommended weight guidelines should still be followed.
