How Secure Is the Etac Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Mattress Set?

The 4WayGlide LPL Mattress and Sheet Set is designed to simultaneously provide carers with an assured method of patient adjustment, and patients with an independent means of moving up and down their bed. The mattress's elasticated straps combine with the sheet's PU-coated lock to secure them both together, whilst handles on the inside of the mattress allow patients to manoeuvre themselves, or allow attachment to a hoist for assisted movement.

What Makes the Triple Locked Set Safer Than Other Models?

The 4WayGlide sheet has three PU-treated locks for attaching to the mattress, whereas other models have either one or two. This is to ensure maximum safety when caring for patients with advanced injuries and degenerative motor-neuron diseases, as these patients have a greater risk of slippage and require a greater attention to care and support.

How Practical Is the 4WayGlide LPL Mattress and Sheet Set?

Washing Instructions

1. The 4WayGlide LPL Mattress and Sheet can be washed at 80ºC.
2. Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
3. Alternatively, both can be wiped with disinfectant.
