Headmaster Cervical Collar

The Headmaster Cervical Collar is a padded tubular neck collar that keeps the neck positioned and supports the head. It is available in a choice of sizes for a more accurate fit for the patient.

Indications of the Headmaster Collar

The Headmaster Collar is ideal for patients with conditions including Lou Gehrigs's disease (which is also known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), arthritis, and Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

The collar can provide support to patients with ongoing conditions, and can also offer occasional or temporary aid where head control is required.

Benefits of the Headmaster Collar

The Headmaster Collar provides optimal support to the head and neck area. It is made from a padded tubular design that bends to adjust for neck flexion or extension, making it more practical for the wearer. It also allows access to a tracheal tube where required.

The collar is made from natural rubber latex, which can be hand washed to ensure good levels of hygiene. Please note that natural rubber latex may cause allergic reactions in some patients, so it is important to be fully aware of any allergies the patient may have before applying the collar.

Sizing of the Headmaster Collar

The Headmaster Cervical Collar is available in six sizes, making it suitable for both adults and children. To determine the size required, measure from the centre of the chin to the corner of the jaw. Your chosen size can be selected from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
