BariSling Bariatric Patient Sling

The BariSling Bariatric Patient Sling is a lifting aid that safely enables the comfortable lifting and transfer of patients weighing over 200kg. It has six suspension points; two loops at the back and four below the legs to distribute pressure safely and comfortably. The BariSling can be used in combination with both mobile and stationary lifts with a four-point sling bar.

The BariSling is a functional lifting accessory that has been created to lift users weighing over 200kg. It provides support all the way from the hollow of the knees up to the shoulders. The design makes the patient feel comfortable and secure as they are being lifted.

Distributing Pressure Comfortably

The BariSling can be used in combination with mobile or stationary (overhead) lifts with a four-point sling bar, and has six suspension points. It has two slingbar loops at the back and four below the legs to distribute pressure comfortably and safely.

Which Hoists Can I Use the Sling With?

This sling is designed with loop fixings. It is designed for easy and secure attachment to all hoists with loop fixing compatibility.

Recommended User Weight

Different products on the same lift system (lift unit, sling bar, scales and other lifting accessories) may have different allowable safe working loads. The lowest allowable safe working load always determines the safe working load of an assembled system. The BariSling is available to purchase in two different sizes depending on the user's weight:

XXX-Large: 200 - 350kg
XXXX-Large: 250 - 570kg

Please note that though the sling can handle loads of up to 570kg, the recommended weight guidelines should still be followed.
