Rolyan Dorsal Blocking Splint (Pack of 3)

The Rolyan Dorsal Blocking Splint is designed to immobilise the wrist, metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and interphalangeal (IP) joints of the hand while leaving the thumb free for function. Sometimes called a back slab splint, this splint is used clinically following flexor tendon repairs. It features a palmar bar, providing increased support and reducing splint migration.

The Rolyan Dorsal Blocking Splint is supplied in a pack of three.

Applying the Dorsal Blocking Splint

All Rolyan pre-cut splint blanks come ready to heat and mould. Quick and easy to use, they save time and money, and also reduce waste material. Invert the pre-cut for left or right hand application.

Available Versions of the Dorsal Blocking Splint

The Rolyan Dorsal Blocking Splint is available in three different materials:

• Ezeform Solid White 3.2mm - Maximum resistance to stretch, rigid
• Polyflex II Solid White 3.2mm - Moderate resistance to stretch, flexible 
• Aquaplast ProDrape-T Solid White 3.2mm - Minimum resistance to stretch, highly flexible (Small only)

Sizing of the Dorsal Blocking Splint

The Rolyan Dorsal Blocking Splint is available in two different sizes. To find your size, simply follow the diagram below, measuring across the second to the fifth MCP joints, and compare to the measurements provided in the table.
