During a patient's recovering from a neurological injury or other condition, progressive exercise routines are useful for both rehabilitation and evaluation of progress. This Neuroquip GRASP Kit is widely used by therapists to develop an exercise routine for patients recovering from stroke or other neurological disorders. 

Wide Range of Equipment for a Variety of Exercises

Whether using on yourself or testing on a patient, GRASP is a great way to make the rehabilitation process fun and stimulating. It comes with a variety of exercises to improve strength, weight-bearing, motion, fine motor control activity and overall functionality. 

Three Different Activity Levels 

One of the key features of the Neuroquip GRASP Kit is the ability to test on 3 different activity levels. This enables the test to be used with patients at varying stages of rehabilitation. There is a patient manual for each level which explains the different exercises included.

Home-Based Rehabilitation

All the equipment and exercises can be used at home, but the kit is also packaged in a convenient carry case. This makes it ideal for stimulating upper limb recovery at regular intervals, and for therapists to transport to multiple different patients during the day.

What's Included

The equipment supplied for includes a hand gripper/exerciser, Theraputty, target board, and towel for each level. There are then extra components for different exercises, based on the level. The patient manuals give a comprehensive guide for levels 1, 2 and 3. 

GRASP (Graded Repetitive Arm Supplementary Program)

The Graded Repetitive Arm Supplementary Program is a highly effective tool for promoting functional recovery in upper limbs. Most commonly used after a stroke, the method is also popular for treating brain injuries and other neurological disorders. This innovative and highly respected upper extremity rehabilitation and exercise system was developed by the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, described and published in the ‘Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation’ (Jan 2006).
