What Options of Collection Jars Are Available?

There are two options available for collection. The machine can be used with either disposable collection jars or reusable jars to be sterilised in an autoclave. Please select your preference from the drop down menu at the top of this page.

What Level of Suction Does This Machine Produce?

The suction level of this machine is fully adjustable via an analogue gauge. It can be varied from 0 to over 800mbar, which is equivalent to 80kPa.

Is This Suction Machine Loud?

No, in fact this machine is exceptionally quiet! It produces 60db of noise while in operation. This is the same volume as a normal conversation.

How Large Is the OB 2012 Portable Suction Unit?

This is a remarkably compact suction unit. It's dimensions are 35 x 10 x 24.5cm.

How Heavy Is the OB 2012 Portable Suction Unit?

While not light, this machine is completely manageable. It weighs in at 4.9kg – certainly more portable than the majority of suction units.

Does This Portable Machine Compromise on Suction Strength?

While it may be one of the most compact suction units around, the OB 2012 does not skimp on suction strength. It produces up to and over 80kPa pressure, which is the equivalent of being more than 8m below water!

What Power Source Does This Suction Machine Use?

This machine can be run and recharged from any 12V DC vehicle power source. Alternatively it can be charged from any 220V AC power source.
