What Is the Air X Thumb Support Made With?
The Thumb Spica Support is manufactured using patented Air X fabric, which has the ability to transport moisture efficiently away from the body, drawing sweat and perspiration outward and minimising irritation in the process. Perfect for wear all year round, Air X fabric has tiny stippled holes that give your skin room to breathe, preventing the build up of odour and smell when used throughout the day. The Air X Support is 100% neoprene-free.
How Comfortable Is the Air X Thumb Spica Brace?
Unlike other supports, the Air X is designed to be worn for long periods thanks to its flexible Air X foundation. The Thumb Spica Brace is able follow the natural contours of the hand and wrist, making for a lightweight and soft brace that uses unique material to enhance breathability and comfort.

What Are the Benefits of a Thumb Spica Splint?
Splinting facilitates the immobilisation and stabilisation of the joint in question, helping to protect from further injury. One advantage of using a thumb spica splint instead of a cast or brace is that spica splints accommodate swelling thanks to their elasticity.
Additionally, elasticated splints also provide compression that helps increase circulation which helps reduce swelling and assists healing.
What Makes Air X Fabric Better Than Other Materials?
The unique Air X fabric has the ability to transport moisture efficiently away from the body thanks to the layered fibre structures, which help promote moisture wicking. This results in a dry, comfortable feeling on the surface of the skin, helping your hand to feel fresh throughout the day.
Air X fabric is also a soft, lightweight material that perfectly follows the contours of the body. This means the Air X adapts and shapes itself to the individual wearing it providing exceptional comfort, even for extended periods of a time.
