Neoprene Thumb Spica Splint
The Neoprene Thumb Spica Splint is suitable for reducing pain caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as general pain or instability of the first MCP joint. The Thumb Spica features flexi-steel reinforcement that provides additional immobilisation and protection of the CMC joint, making it ideal for all treatment of sorts of thumb pain and injuries.

What Size of Thumb Spica Do I Need?
The Neoprene Thumb Spica is available in four different sizes, each of which has a length of 16.5cm. To find the perfect size for your hand, simply measure the circumference of your wrist as demonstrated in the image below:
Once you have this measurement, please consult the sizing chart beneath. If your measurement falls on a sizing boundary, we recommend selecting the larger size for optimum comfort.

What If I Fall Between Sizes?
If your wrist circumference measurement means you fall between sizes, simply select the large of the two sizes to get the most comfortable fit possible.
How Do I Correctly Apply the Neoprene Thumb Splint?
To correctly apply your Spica Thumb Splint, please follow the image and instructions below:
- Undo any fastenings and lay your Neoprene Thumb Splint flat
- Place your hand inside the brace with the larger strap at the bottom. Take the larger Velcro strap and tie it at the wrist until comfortable
- Adjust the position of the thumb until comfortable, securing it with the smaller Velcro strap

- Ensure the wrist fastening is properly secured when attached
- Trim any excess strap away with a pair of scissors to prevent overhand and snagging
- Ensure the splint section of the brace is properly positioned to provide support against the side of the wrist
