The Revolve Si uses high resilient foam with premium open cell for longevity, and flexible polyurethane foam structure. The Propad Revolve also uses a higher density foam (70kg/m²), providing longer lasting support without bottoming out when seated.

Does the Propad Revolve Si Reduce Transfer Friction?

Though pressure is the main factor for ulcer development, it can also be caused by friction as the material of the seat rubs against the skin. This usually occurs during transfers. The Si cushion is available with a selection of stretchable and water-resistant polyurethane covers which work to minimise shear and friction.

Is the Cushion Affected By Patient Temperature Changes?

The Revolve Si includes a clinical fluid sac (silicone) within the foam, using Invacare's Flo-tech technology, developed for patients who are prone to temperature changes. This non-temperature sensitive fluid ensures the viscosity remains consistent in all climates and keeps the cushion at a comfortable temperature.

Is the Invacare Si Pressure Relief Cushion Hygienic?

This cushion features Invacare's Ultra-Fresh treatment, which provides lasting freshness and longer life. This enables enhanced antimicrobial protection and odour reduction, keeping the chair high-quality and hygienic despite frequent use.

Which Size Is Right for Me?

This cushion is available in a range of sizes, which you can select from the drop-down menu at the top of this page. The 17" x 17" and 17" x 18" are usually most suitable for the majority of standard wheelchairs. As this cushion is omnidirectional, it can be used any way round for increased flexibility.

The sewn covers are the standard option, featuring a concealed zip and full length flap. These covers can be easily cleaned by simply wiping them down with disinfectant.
