In situations where a ramp is required for improved ease of access, but there is nowhere feasible to affix one, a self-supporting ramp is an ideal solution. The Permaramp-Adjust Self-Supporting Wheelchair Ramp features adjustable telescopic legs for easy location over thresholds.

With a unique Gripdeck surface for improved grip and sustained use outdoors, it is suited to a wide range of situations. It offers an exceptional weight capacity of up to 400kg depending on ramp size, and is well suited for wheelchairs, scooters, and sports wheelchairs.

Versatile Use

The Permaramp-Adjust Self-Supporting Wheelchair Ramp has been designed to offer great versatility. It can be used both indoors and outside as the surface has been manufactured for sustainable use, whether it is required at home, in a care environment, or in a public place.

With a weight capacity of between 300kg to 400kg depending on ramp length, it can accommodate virtually any wheeled mobility aid. It is particularly suited to wheelchairs, scooters, and sports wheelchairs.

Telescopic Self-Supporting Legs

While some thresholds can support a ramp or accommodate ramp fixings, many PVC doorways are unable to bear a ramp on its own. With the telescopic legs of the Permaramp-Adjust, this does not need to be a problem. The support legs can be positioned to accommodate different threshold types, and provide a total height adjustment of between 7.5cm and 25cm (3" and 10").

The height adjustment and installation can be conducted from above, allowing for optimal ease of use whenever adjustment is required. The self-levelling and swivelling feet also spread weight and allow installation where width is restricted.

Unique Gripdeck Surface

The surface of the Permaramp-Adjust is made from extremely durable and unique Gripdeck technology. The multi-directional grip surface improves safer use outdoors, and the weather-resistant nature of the grip increases both the safety and the longevity of the ramp.

This means that, even if the weather is wet and unpredictable, the ramp can be installed outside. This makes it a ideal ramp for use in a garden, in a public space, and even as a temporary ramp at outdoor events.

Suitable for Outward-Opening Doors

The Permaramp-Adjust Wheelchair Ramp is suitable for a wide range of doorways, and this includes outward-opening doors. This means that the ramp can be placed outside to lead up to the doorway without barricading the door or reducing the amount to which it can be opened. This allows for optimal accessibility over PVC thresholds.
