Specifically designed for patient comfort, the Duralite Post-Operative Shoe features an ultra-lightweight sole and has a soft, breathable mesh construction that easily accommodates a variety of dressings.

What Size Do I Need?

The Duralite Post-Operative Shoe is split into two versions: a narrower version designed for women's feet, and a wide fit version for men. Multiple sizes are available in both of these variants, please consult the table below for details and select the appropriate size for you from the drop-down menu above.

Is the Post-Operative Shoe Adjustable?

To give bandaged or swollen feet the room needed, the Duralite Shoe features adjustable straps for customisable use based on personal preference. The Velcro straps allow the wearer to secure the shoe as loosely or firmly as they find comfortable.

What If I Have Injured Both Feet?

If you are recovering from a surgery or injury on both of your feet, then you'll want to purchase two Duralite Post Operative Shoes. Our Double Pack allows you to get a pair of Post Op Shoes, coming at less of the price!

Will This Wound Shoe Fit My Dressing?

Yes, thanks to long straps and Velcro closures, the Post-Operative Shoe is highly adjustable. This means it can easily accommodate all types of dressings.

Does the Post-Operative Shoe Fit Either Foot?

Yes, the Wound Shoe is designed to easily fit your left or your right foot. Please note that this purchase includes a single Post-Operative Shoe.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

I had to have my whole leg bandaged and hadn't been out for weeks, I discovered this company online and ordered this shoe. Super lightweight but secure, adjustable straps that can be cut to size. I would have given 5 stars but the ladies were just a bit on the long side. Brilliant service and delivery too

Quick delivery and pleased with the quality and comfort of the shoe. Only issue was sizing. I am a standard women’s UK size 6.5 so I ordered the medium/narrow. The width was fine but the shoe was too short length ways by a good couple of sizes. I wore it anyway as it was non returnable and my big toe just hung over the edge. I would err on the side of caution and size up if unsure.

Hi thanks for your help with this item. Your service was excellent and prompt.
Unfortunately father passed away before being able to use the shoes. To which you have accepted them for return and refund (contra to usual policy) for which I thank you very much.
Good shoes at reasonable prices, for all kinds of mobility problems.

I purchased this item as I had broke my toe & needed a bit of foot support as I couldn’t wear a normal shoe. The shoe was too big so i asked to return & request a refund. Due to hygiene reasons I couldn’t return the shoe as the original packaging was not sealed.

I fully understand that my foot had been in the shoe only to try for size & therefore classed as used but the shoe was is still in a resellable condition, although on the returns policy it does not mention shoes under the hygiene rules so I was a bit confused by this. I contacted customer services for a refund on the item which was declined with reason but i was not offered an exchange for another item.

I’m quite disappointed as i paid £12.99 for the shoe & also ended up paying more money to purchase another shoe and i’m now stuck with a post op shoe thats too big & will not get used.

I bought this shoe as the one I left hospital with was way too big and had a white sole which draws even more attention to it! This shoe is much neater and all black, easy to fasten and has helped me through my period of reduced mobility. Also arrived within 2 days of ordering! Would highly recommend,

This shoe has met my expectations. It is simple to put on and off without any discomfort. It is of fairly light construction but provided adequate and comfortable support. The straps required trimming given they were too long for my requirements but that is not a problem. I cannot comment on their longevity as I only required to wear them for three weeks. I was very impressed with service and delivery.
