• The Soft Support offers greater mobility due to a fully-elasticated thumb section.

The Selection Rigid Wrist Support is designed to be used when the wrist requires support and off-loading in cases such as rheumatic disorders, soft tissue injuries or attritional wear. As such, the support is suitable for the following conditions:

Whereas the Allard Selection Soft Black Left Wrist Support offers full mobility, the Allard Selection Rigid Support utilises a more rigid thumb area to provide the wearer with greater stability, preventing further injury from muscle tear. In areas where movement is required, such as the palm, a light cut has been applied to allow for some light movement.

How Do You Fit the Selection Rigid Wrist Support?

1. Check that the support is complete and without damage.
2. Open the Velcro straps and release the lacing.
3. Pull the orthosis on like a glove.
4. Secure the two straps around the wrist.
5. Secure the thumb strap.
6. Adjust for comfort.

Washing Instructions

1. Close all Velcro prior to laundering.
2. Machine wash in 40°C gentle cycle.
3. Use a washing bag. 
4. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
