Key Features and Benefits
- An 18cm length provides excellent support to the entire wrist and forearm

- Unique overlocked edges offer excellent comfort that minimises chafing
- Aluminium palmar bar is fully adjustable to hold the wrist at the correct angle

- Made from quality woven elastic that provides gentle compression to the injured area
How Does Compression Help With Injuries?
Providing gentle compression to the area around an injury improves circulation and prevents the excess build up of fluid, helping to reduce swelling. Compression also improves the rate of healing by the build up of lymph fluids, which need to flow properly to transport damaged cells and tissue.
Why Are Overlocked Edges More Comfortable?
By minimising the chafing at the thumb web and palmar crease, the overlocked edges help ensure that this wrist splint is exceptionally comfortable. The overstitched tabs are also easy to adjust, making it simple to apply the right amount of pressure for your injury.
What Colours Are Available?
This wrist support comes in two different colours, you can select your preference of beige or black from the menu at the top of the page.

What Are the Advantages of a Thumb Restriction Splint?
Instead of completely immobilising the joint like a cast, a wrist and thumb support splint allows for some movement. This allows you to retain some some manual dexterity, making daily tasks easier and reducing muscle atrophy during the healing process.
Why Is It Useful to be Able to Adjust the Aluminium Palmar Bar?
The angle at which a wrist is supported is crucial to whether it heals correctly and to how much pain reduction the orthotic provides. In the majority of cases the angle at which it feels most comfortable is going to be the one most ideal for healing, making this brace's personal adjustability extremely useful. For severe injuries it's recommended that a health professional determines the angle of the bar.
