Bedford Double Finger Splint 

Whether for injury rehabilitation or ongoing conditions such as arthritis, the Bedford Double Finger Splint can help by providing excellent support and gentle compression, reducing pain and assisting recovery. It's made from elasticated cotton that conforms the size of your finger and provides support to the injury without immobilising your hand.

Sizing of the Bedford Double Finger Splint

The Bedford Double Finger Splint is available in five sizes based on width of individual opening and total length. Please select the size appropriate for you using the table below.

To find which size you require, measure the circumference of your finger and halve this measurement, this will give you the width.

How Does the Bedford Double Finger Splint Work?

The double stalls of the Bedford Double Finger Splint support both the PIP (Proximal Interphalangeal) and DIP (Distal Interphalangeal) joints, making it an excellent choice for a number of different injuries and conditions. The soft elasticated cotton provides padding to reduce any impacts and lower the chances of further injury without being bulky enough to interfere with daily tasks.

What Parts of the Finger Does This Splint Support?

The DIP (Distal Interphalangeal) and PIP (Proximal Interphalangeal) joints are the last two joints toward your fingertip as shown in the image below. This splint has been specifically designed to offer great support and padding to those two joints.

What Level of Support Does the Bedford Double Splint Provide?

In order to allow some finger mobility and hand dexterity, this splint provides a moderate degree of support by not immobilising the fingers completely. Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Unfortunately the five splints supplied were different sizes within the pack. I ordered small but some were very loose fitting which defeated the object.

I suffer from arthritis and as a result have had two finger on each hand operated upon to give them new knuckles. Your splints help me tremendously with movement of my hands and fingers. Would highly recommend.

Pleased with item. Very prompt delivery.
The double splint supports my arthritic finger by 'tethering' it to its neighbour finger, ergo limiting unnecessary bending of affected knuckles. My initial worry about how flexible the splint would be was unfounded: material is soft, comfortable, washable - and item easy to put on. Recommended.
