Handmade Heritage

This traditional chestnut hiking stick is not just made, it is grown! The ancient technique of coppicing involves cutting back the source trees about a metre back from the ground, stimulating the growth of new shoots which grow to an appropriate diameter for a walking stick.

Alpine Ferrule

The staff is supplied with an alpine ferrule as standard. Specially developed for icy surfaces, its sharp spike provides fantastic grip on nearly all types of outdoor terrain.

Unique Finish

Once the Scorched Chestnut Hiking Staff has been made, it is furnished with a flame-scorched finish. This brings out the grain and provides the stick with an elegant and unique appearance.
